01

Scope and contact

This policy applies to the System Monitor & Device Info Android app provided by PerfectSky Studios. The website has a separate privacy notice.

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at perfectskystudios@gmail.com.

02

Device data

The app reads technical information that Android makes available, such as CPU, GPU, memory, storage, battery, display, network status, and sensors. Live monitoring, hardware tests, and performance measurements use this information on your device. Availability varies by device model and Android version.

Preferences, monitoring sessions you save, and performance results are stored in the app's local device storage. The app does not send this content to a PerfectSky Studios server. If you choose to share a report, the app or service you select in the Android share sheet receives that content.

03

Permissions and hardware access

Microphone permission is requested only for the microphone test to measure input level. Audio samples are processed in memory during the test; no audio recording file is created. Sensor and flashlight tests run when you open them.

The display-over-other-apps permission keeps the live system panel visible over other apps. While that panel is active, a foreground service runs with the notification required by Android. Network and Wi‑Fi status permissions are used to show connection details. Internet access is used for ads, consent services, and opening legal pages.

04

Advertising and third parties

The app uses Google AdMob for ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process data such as IP address, advertising or app identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. An IP address may be used to infer approximate location. Google's own terms and policies govern this processing.

A consent message is shown where required. An ad privacy choices entry appears in the app's Settings when Google requires it. The app does not intentionally pass its local hardware or session records to the ad SDK.

05

Storage and deletion

Local preferences, sessions, and results may remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. You can delete saved sessions in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data; copies you previously exported or shared may remain wherever you saved them.

Retention of advertising and consent data is governed by the applicable Google services. PerfectSky Studios does not directly control those periods.

06

Your choices

You can revoke microphone or other system permissions and disable display over other apps in Android settings. The related test or panel may then be unavailable. When provided by Google, you can reopen ad privacy choices from the app's Settings.

Email us if you have questions about data processing or a request concerning information you have sent us.

07

Changes

We may update this notice when app features or services change. The current version and update date will be posted here.
